It doesn't matter whether it's a save file IE, it's not an error being triggered by a certain event or a new game. I had each CD mounted on its own drive letter. This will launch the install wizard. It asks those install questions near the end. Windows 10 has more advanced versions in it and installing them will cause problems Go to the mounted CD1 and go into the Crack folder.
Copy the Movies. Click on the Crack version of Movies. Game Play Starmaker runs just fine every time. Use it first to make stars if you are going to do that Movies, you have to be in Administrator mode the first time that you run it. After that, anyone can access it. Having recently installed Windows 10, I am mostly liking what it has to offer. Unfortunately, I am experiencing compatability issues with a piece of software that I use quite frequently. This game ran perfectly fine with Windows 8. With Win 10 however, it seems as though the game just won't launch. I try running as Administrator, I try using compatibility mode which has NEVER ever worked for me but the game just simply doesn't start up whatsoever.
I've launched a few PC games that are even older with no problems. The Movies still has a fairly active community in which I have a few movie projects I'm still working on with the software. If I can't get it to run on Win 10, I'll have to downgrade or just abandon work on the projects, both of which I don't want to do at this point. Hoping someone can help me out here, cheers.

I've notice that most of the files do copy over to the PC, its the final step which doesn't happen. Figuring it was an issue with my PC, because its been in use for a few years, I just completed a clean install of Windows 10 - the long one that takes hours upon hours.
Don't regret it because it was long overdue, got rid of a lot of files and programs not in use anymore, but it has not resolved the issue. Very disappointed and by performing a clean install via Recovery, I've lost the option to downgrade unless I do yet again clean install using my OEM Windows 7 disc. User's post on August 10, I tried installing the game in compatibility mode. No difference, the game just doesn't run at all. All my drivers are fully updated as well. I am also having this problem. It's still not working. The autorun opens it, but displays a message about not having access to all files aka, not running it as admin.

I've had to downgrade to Windows 8 so the game can run again. Not upgrading to Windows 10 again until the issue is resolved. Nothing against Win 10, but I need The Movies to finish projects and that. Deviance fixes generally work well. He is one of the more prolific noCD creators. Reinstalled and did compatibility mode but still does not run. I booted up windows 7 I have duel install, because I was unsure of win 10 when it came out and it runs fine. But when I run the game on windows 10 in compatibility for windows 7, XP or even 8. The game installs fine, but gives a compatibility error when the exe is run.
Any other advice? I'd rather not resort to messing with cracks as other have said, I bought the game so I wouldn't have to do these things. A subscription to make the most of your time. Try one month free. This site in other languages x.
